Woodlands Family Magazine launched its premiere issue in September 2009 with a distribution of 10,000 magazines throughout the community. The magazine is distributed to Woodlands area grocery stores, medical facilities, retail establishments, drug stores, fitness/recreation facilities, nonprofit organizations, private schools, enrichment locations, and promotional events. Subscriptions are also available to those desiring home delivery. Circulation will gradually increase over 2010 with an expanded circulation of 50,000 by 2011.
Editorial content is geared to the primary audience of Woodlands area mothers with children living in the home. Secondary audiences are Woodlands area fathers with children living in the home and Woodlands area grandmothers.
