What is Houston MediaSource?
Houston MediaSource is Houston’s Public Access Television station. Our mission involves three main services.
- We provide free access to a cable television channel, open to all Houston area residents. Non commercial, public access television is pure free speech. Get your own TV show!
- We provide media education and equipment access to all Houston area residents. With the education and tools HMS provides, the community produces the only local, all original television channel.
Classes and equipment!
- Houston MediaSource provides free television access to other Houston area non-profits. Our community outreach programs bring media education to after school programs, television exposure to arts organizations, and free publicity for community services.
